A collaboration between BrewDog and The 3 Floyds, this is a barrel aged barley wine and boy you can taste the barrel!
This is an enormous and intense drink.
Extreme barley wine.
You get the most enormous hit of single malt, peat smoked whisky, a face full of red fruits and hot, sticky toffee, and a rush of leafy green hops.
But the wonderful overriding thing about this is the dry wood smoke in the finish.
It’s so fresh and vibrant that it’s like sitting in front of a roaring fire with a good single malt at your side.
Amazing.

I liked the beer but would never buy it again on the basis of the name. It’s not funny, it’s just offensive.
I know what you mean.
Another example of BrewDog trying too hard to be edgy.
I wish they’d just concentrate now on beer.
They’ve made their name now and they make some brilliant drinks.
It’s like punk rock – the shake up needed to happen but now it’s time to move on.
