Stroud Brewery Alederflower (4.9%)

This is absolutely delightful.
Really.
Find this beer and drink it.
Alederflower is a Pale Ale brewed with Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops and infused with elderflowers, that pours a pale gold and smells of lemon bonbons and fresh elderflowers.
The malting, organically grown in the Cotswolds, is soft and round and chewy, giving you shortcake and brown sugar, honey and pancakes, while the hops give you a big blast of sherbet lemon, pithy gooseberries, lime leaves and a hint of apricot.
And as you drink the elderflower builds a lovely clean steely dryness that prickles on your tongue and puckers your lips.
As I said, delightful.
