Mad Hatter Brewing Co. Lick Face (4%)

Sometimes it concerns me if a Brewery makes the decision to inform you that a beer of theirs is moreish on the label.
It just so often smacks of desperately trying to convince.
But with Lick Face Mad Hatter are spot on.
This is moreish and ought to be presented in a much bigger bottle.
Lick Face is a stunningly good little Pale Ale packed with caramel and popcorn, honey, shortcake and hay bales from its malts.
Then there’s a little prickly nettle and hedgerow, lemon zest and peach hop hit that fizzes with life and leaves you with a soft candy cane sweet finish.
Lovely and ever so moreish.
