Duration Beer Turtles All The Way Down (5.5%)

Brewed at Amundsen Bryggeri in Oslo, this is my first experience of Duration’s beer, and if this is what’s in store I’m looking forward to trying a lot more.
Turtles All The Way Down is a cloudy straw yellow Pale Ale with a soft and creamy honey and shortbread, caramel waffle malt body that’s made thick and creamy by the addition of flaked oats, and a hint of something earthy and fruity from the yeast.
And then there are the hops.
Magnum, Mosaic and Hallertau Blanc work together, mixing and matching and, in the end creatign a great big bright and fresh blast of pithy herbs, greengage and grape skin sharpness and lots of zippy citrus that lead you down into a long dry fizzy finish.
