Burning Sky Robust Porter (5.8%)

Now this, dear reader, this is very good indeed.
Pouring an inky black with an aroma stuffed full of toffee and coffee and plum compote, Burning Sky’s Robust Porter is an absolute delight.
There’s a deep rich malt body that’s crammed full of treacle tart and Liquorice Allsorts, espresso, bitter chocolate powder, molasses and doughnuts.
It’s round and chewy, dry as a bone and endlessly satisfying.
Then there’s a little splash of colour from the bergamot, hazel leaf and nettle tea of the hops, a hint of black cherry and some soft succulent raisins as you head into the black hole of the finish where everything swims around you penetrating your very being with its Beery goodness.
