Elgood’s Indian Summer (4.8%)

This is a really good pale ale.
Open the bottle and inside you’ll find a lovely golden beer with a decent head.
The mix of Maris and crystal malts give a great base from which the hops can kick at you.
There’s rich honey and a hint of heather and lavender poured over a little digestive biscuit.
Then the hops come in.
Long and green and grassy.
Dry, crisp and fresh.
The only downside?
I’m not a fan of clear glass bottles as it often means that the beer won’t keep too well.
So I’d best drink it quickly then!
