Schremser Roggen Bio Bier (5.2%)

According to the brewery’s website,

“Schremser Roggenbier is the rediscovery of a beer speciality, which was traditional up until the 15th century when it was then banned. Top-fermented, Schremser Roggen stands out due to its intensive full-bodied taste.”

All I know is that this is a devastatingly brilliant Austrian beer.
Intense green apples & grape peel, stingingly fruity with hints of orchard flowers.
The body is a light as air caramel with a lick of candied sugar and bags of green wood sap.
The finish is full of citrus pith and rind, and is SUPER dry.
Wow.
