Based on Arbor’s Omega recipe, this is a tremendous mild full of stewed plums and damsons, gooseberries and a lovely wash of spice.
Mace and cinnamon, liquorice, peppercorns and a dose of candied peel.
Thick and dark, the malting is full bodied and sexy.
Right at the end, like a little present, you’re given a gently dry and pleasing burst of hop goodness, but this is all about the big round and warm malting, and the thick and cosy feeling on your palate.
Very festive and very good.
I feel like Christmas.
