Buxton Brewery Axe Edge (6.8%)

OK, so this will be a short review.
Even shorter than usual.
I wrote it while drinking this beer and I think it’s summed up pretty well.

This is a glorious double IPA.
Full of the flavours of the sweet shop.
All chewy foam shrimps and bananas, fizzy flying saucers and red liquorice laces.
There’s a backbone of fudgey biscuits and a dollop of rum and raisin chocolate.
All this plus really zingy tropical fruits, green grassy tea and a nettle sting of a finish.
