Oakham Ales JHB (4.2%)

Light and airy, this is a terrific summer beer.
Even the bright straw of the beer in the glass says long, warm evenings.
While drinking you are treated to lots of light caramels, all soft and sweet and delightfully creamy.
This beer is mainly about the hops though, something that Oakham are known for.
Strong bitter lemon and lime, grapefruit peel acidity, a big clean fistful of green, leafy goodness.
Thirst quenching and dry, this will be my first choice if we manage to get any summer evenings in 2012.
