St Feuillien Saison (6.5%)

Opening with a delightful pop of the cork, this is a lovely Saison.
Soft and fruity with a delicious orchard aroma, more pear than apple though.
This is a much softer beer than the DuPont I reviewed the other day but just as good in its own way. Light toffee coated stewed apples, hints of cinnamon and mace, a dose of sherbet and a clean tingling steely yeast.
If anything, I’d like a little more from the hops.
More strength, more dryness on the palate to finish.
But that said, if you see this buy it, it’s very good.
