Budelse Brouwerij Organic Lager (5%)

There’s a lovely zesty whiff of oranges to this beer which immediately makes me think of sun and warm weather, and poured chilled into a stemmed glass, this beer makes for a terrific lunchtime tipple.
OK, so there’s snow outside, but in the house with a sandwich and some homemade coleslaw this organic lager adds a little snatch of much needed sunshine.
The malting is soft and mildly fruity with a good shortcake crunch that provides a decent body, the sparkle is just right and pops on your tongue in a very pleasant way, and the hops are bright and snappy and draw you in for another gulp.
Nice.
