Green Jack Brewery Mahseer IPA (5%)

Well, this is disappointing.
I was expecting an earth shaking, mind boggling beer sensation.
What I got is a depressingly flat, fizz free, malty, hoppy soup.
The label says “Heavily hopped” and the beer is.
It has that fiery, cracked pepper all spice lemon and lime citrus thing going on, but the lack of body from the flatness of the beer itself makes the whole thing go, well, all drab and lifeless.
There are actually some very nice flavours left on your palate after each swig but the watery feeling doesn’t make you want to take another gulp.
It was expensive too.
What a great pity.
