Crouch Vale Yakima Gold 4.2%

This is a lovely refreshing pint from the Essex based Crouch Vale Brewery. If you didn’t think their staple Brewers Gold could be bettered think again!

It’s brewed using Amarillo Hops which gives it a spicy citrus taste with a fruity aroma. It’s incredibly drinkable and went down a treat during a muggy day by the coast.

I am not sure how it compares against Crouch Vales stronger Amarillo (5%). Soon as I track a pint of that down I will compare notes.  If you are after a pale golden beer to see the last of the summer off then this isn’t a bad choice. I said it once so I will say it again. Lovely!
