Revolutions Brewing Co. Kraftwerk Braun Ale (4.5%)

I enjoyed this beer from cask and it’s very good in a bottle.
In fact I’d go as far as to say that Revolutions have now got their bottling just right and that this is the best bottled beer they’ve done so far.
Kraftwerk is a dark brown beer with a foamy cappuccino head.
Its aroma lies somewhere hot chocolate powder with hazelnuts and Cadbury’s Eclairs.
The flavours follow suit with a lovely big fat fudge bar covered in milk chocolate and dipped in chopped nuts, along with some rum and raisin biscuits and a splash of prune juice.
There’s hops in here too and they’re all crunchy leaves, woody and red and dry as a bone.
Yes this is a short and simple review but sometimes things a just so simple they’re brilliant.
