Partizan Brewing Pale Ale (6%)

Pale AleI didn’t realise when I reviewed a Partizan Pale Ale a few weeks ago that the brewery is doing a whole series with different hops.
This one is brewed with Cascade and Wakatu and it’s a fizzy glass of joy.
The smell is wine gums and other assorted jelly sweets while the immense wash of citrus on your tongue is tempered by a malt that’s shredded wheat light and brittle but gives just enough honey richness to balance out the intense stinging sherbet hops.
Mango and peaches, lime leaves and lemon juice scour your tastebuds and leave a long bitter dry finish.
Lovely stuff.
