Rocky Head Brewery Pale Ale (6.5%)

Pale AleA great big beer in a tiny little bottle, Rocky Head’s Pale Ale is a super charged hop bomb.
The beer pours a deep rich amber and has a lovely lively dense and bubbly head.
The smell is salty toffee, foam shrimp and fruity chews, and the flavours follow suit.
You get a big drunken blast of sozzled caramel, black peppercorns, shortbread biscuit crumbs and a pinch of red chili.
The hops are all lime juice and kiwi fruit, passion flower, hibiscus an penny sweets.
There’s satsuma skins and lemon pips too, and they’re coated in sparkling Space Dust that pops on your tongue and leads you smiling into a long knife sharp finish rounded off with sticky honey and a cool gin blast.
Super duper.
