Cheddar Ales Totty Pot (4.7%)

Totty PotTotty Pot is a rather good Porter.
It’s dark and deep and smells of fruit and nut chocolate.
There’s a slightly odd thickness to it, a viscous feeling that’s rather like a Milk Stout.
Not a bad feeling, just a little surprising.
Te malts are slightly oaty, but come with a big bran biscuit, plums and prunes, chocolate, and just a splash of coffee.
Totty Pot’s hops add a good sharp mown lawn greenness and a nice bitter lemon twist that cuts across the runny honey and digestive biscuit of the finish.
