Winster Valley Brewery Best Bitter (3.7%)

Best BitterWith this, Winster Valley have created a great little Best Bitter that sits a nice warm copper in your glass with just a ring of bubbles for a head.
This is a beer that smells of apples and pears, toffee and English honey.
Right from the off you realise this is a good beer, it’s mouth filling, sticky, gooey, a satisfying beer with a big toffee heart, digestive biscuit baked bran and a very nice juicy berry background.
There are a lot of orchard flavours too, apples and pears, twigs and leaves, and then a sharp bitter hop that’s fresh, green and deliciously spiky.
All this makes for a long honey rich and blackberry leaf bitter finish that draws you back for another mouthful.
