Arundel Brewery Sussex Gold (4.2%)

Sussex GoldAs I took this from the fridge I crossed my fingers as I really wanted to like it as much as the last Arundel beer I tried.
And guess what?
I do!
Sussex Gold is a light honey am,ber beer that smells of candied fruits.
There’s a soft sticky caramel dripping off a rich tea biscuit in the malts, very light, very subtle, very nice.
The hops are lemon rind and a hint of ginger spicy heat, apple cores, woodland bark and chamomile tea, and the finish is a lovely rich runny honey full of nettle leaves that dry your mouth and make you reach for your glass.
