Growler Brewery Growler Bitter (4.4%)

Growler BitterI’ll say it right at the start, I’m not impressed by this at all.
For a start there’s a funny peculiar slightly silage ripe cabbage fug in the smell.
Then there’s not much of a malt here, just a bit of thin watery caramel and some straw in the background.
After that there’s some ever so slightly bitter fruity hops and a finish that’s floral but uninspiring.
Could be a bad bottle?
Nethergate/Growler’s other beers are far far better than this.
