Satanic Mill Brewery Pacific Gem (6.3%)

Pacific GemThis single hop IPA is yet another brilliant home brew from my friend up North.
Pouring a delicious deep copper with a feisty head, the smell is fruity jelly sweets, maybe not a huge aroma, but a very appetising one nonetheless.
Pacific Gem is a big juicy IPA packed with orange Starburst chews, lime zest, kiwi, pweach fuzz and a warm wood resin stickiness.
The malts are thick dark honey, a little burned toffee bitterness and a handful of bran flakes that provide a really solid body and add some much needed depth to the long fruity bitter finish.
Yum.
