The Celt Experience Brewery Bronze Ale (4.5%)

BronzeThis brewery is pretty good you know.
This is the third beer I’ve had from them and it could well be my favourite so far.
It’s a bitter and it has a great big toffee drenched digestive heart, round and warm and satisfying.
Sitting copper (or should that be bronze?) in my glass, with a thick foamy head, the smell is rather old fashioned.
Reminding me of the bitters of my past, it’s all leather satchels, pipe tobacco and honey.
There’s some lovely hoppy bitterness too, all green Welsh woodland like the countryside around Bwlch Y Cibau where I lived on a smallholding for a while, trying not to be a hippy as my hair grew.
Yes, I like this brewery a lot.
