Maui Brewing Co. Coconut Porter (5.7%)

Coconut PorterPorter from a can feels a bit weird.
Until you taste it.
And then you want every Porter to be served this way.
Maui’s Coconut Porter is a deep purple brown beer that smells of coffee and chocolate.
Taking a swig you initially get what you smelled, coffee with chocolate sprinkles.
And then there’s this fabulous and rather sexy hit of toasty, warm nutty coconut milkiness that adds a roundness and sweetness before the crackling brown leaves of the hops.
The finish is dry and crisp but delicately laced with desiccated coconut goodness.
In a (coco) nut shell, superb.
