This is a very tasty little beer that’s packed with good things.
The smell is pears and almonds and a cork notice board with a poster of The Anchor Brewing Company on it.
A good toffee brioche malt soaked in apple juice and grape skins makes way for delicately floral, zesty, lemon drenched hops.
They’re zingy and fresh and marvellously refreshing, and they combine with the malts to give a slightly woody walnut and honey tinged bitter dry finish.
A 330ml bottle just isn’t enough.
