Now this is more like it.
After being nonplussed by Dickensian’s Pale Ale this, their Blonde, is a very nice light summery beer.
Sitting a frothy headed sunshine yellow in my glass, the smell is soft breezy lemon and straw.
There’s lots of croissants and brioche with honey and a sprinkle of salt in the malts, and the hops are sharp, prickly nettles and lemon zest.
All this builds to a crisp, dry finish.
Rather nice.
