This is a pretty decent Best Bitter.
Not a groundbreaking brew, but certainly one I’d be happy to drink all night.
In fact the notes for this one won’t take too long to write as you can probably pretty much guess for yourselves what I might say, and this is good as I’d rather just get on with drinking.
Slater’s Best Bitter is a toffee fuelled, digestive biscuit backboned, stewed red fruit doused beer with a Daim bar smell and a bunch of hops that are sharp and green and floral.
The finish is dry and gently bitter and really very good indeed.
Right, now I can get on with drinking it.
