Rogue Ales American Amber Ale (5.8%)

American Amber AleOh man, this is good.
Just an everyday working man’s/woman’s/persons’ beer made to near perfection.
The aroma is delicious roasted nuts and wood resin and toffee, and the colour is a deep and sexy redwood red.
American Amber Ale is a malt heavy beer, thick with treacle toffee, peanut butter, honey biuscuits and bran flakes.
A big malty beer it might be, but there are plenty of hops here too.
They’re crunchy, red autumnal resinous pine bark ad winter leaf mulch rinsed in orange juice and served with a side order of lemon pips.
American Amber Ale is a simple straightforward beer, but ti’s better than most breweries’ special brews.
