Siren Craft Brew Liquid Mistress (5.8%)

Liquid MistressThis is by far and away the best Siren beer I’ve had so far.
It even looks good.
Pouring a rather nice dark mahogany red brown with a smell that’s all red fruit and treacle, there’s a lovely plump meatiness to the malts that hint at rye, though I’m pretty sure there’s none used here.
It’s a big, bold and satisfying fruit compote served on digestive biscuits and raisins.
The hops are orange red leafy woodland foliage, a pinch of nutmeg and a bouquet of herbal leaves.
Liquid Mistress leaves you with a finish thats bright and zingy but nice and sticky around the edges.
