When this little bottle of joy arrived it came with the warning that it might be a little bit flat.
And so I left it alone for three weeks.
It turns out that that was all it needed, as tonight it’s poured a lovely pitch black with a creamy head.
Jimmy sends me his home brew and for that I owe him big time, especially as it’s so very nice to drink.
Hole In Road Stout has lots of rich dark bitter chocolate, plums, whisky heat malts, and scratchy, edge of the road thistle greenery from the hops.
It’s a good meaty stout, a satisfyingly warm stout, a fruity bodied, voluptuous stout.
I like it very much
