Let me start by saying how much I like the label of this bottle.
It reminds me a lot of all those Post Rock/Math Rock albums of the mid nineties.
You remember, bands like Tortoise, Bill Ding and Gastr Del Sol (who were my personal favourite).
Sky Mountain Sour smells of white wine and just made lemonade, and sits a rich orange in my glass.
This is a very fresh tasting beer, it’s lemon flesh on damp straw, newly picked mushrooms, apple skins and dandelions, all presented in a brown paper bag.
It’s sharp and almost sweet, except for its tongue shrivelling bitterness that puckers your lips and leaves a long dry, crisp finish.
Now where did I put my Sea & Cake LPs?
