This. Is. Extraordinarily. Good.
There’s a creaminess to this beer that you generally get from a well made Milk Stout, it’s mouth coating, warm, boozy and satisfying.
Plead The 5th smells of chocolate pudding, rum and prunes and lounges an impenetrable black in my glass.
This isn’t a beer to talk about in terms of malt and hops, it’s a beer to simply celebrate for its overall goodness.
Yes there’s black coffee, bitter chocolate, freshly varnished red wood and crunchy winter leaves and berries, but Plead The 5th is one of those beers that takes your breath away, makes you hold your glass up and just look at what you’re drinking.
Plead The 5th is brilliant.
Now if you’ll excuse me I have beer to drink.
