Lymestone Brewery Abdominal Stoneman (7%)

Abdominal StonemanThis is Lymestone’s heavily hopped American Pale Ale and I must say it’s a lovely inviting deep copper colour.
The smell is good too, all resinous pine wood, peaches and candy floss.
Oh, and I’ve just taken a sip and BAM!
This is a big chewy toffee hearted hop bomb of a beer and has immediately become my favourite from Lymestone.
The hops are solid chunks of redwood doused in grapefruit and lime, peppery rocket leaves, bracken and heather.
They’re sticky and resinous and BIG, and they leave you with a twisted tongue, curled lips, puckered cheeks and a smile from ear to ear.
Abdominal Stoneman is like a beery superhero.
