Partizan Brewery India Pale Ale Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe (7.1%)

India Pale AleI’ve not had a Partizan beer for a while and I’d forgotten how much I like them.
This is a great little IPA that’s packed with juicy hops, poured with an enormous fluffy head and a mango, lime and coconut smell.
The malting here is a subtly squidgy slice of honey bread and roast nuts, and then the mix of Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe  hops provide a big fruity sweetshop blast of green Starburst, pencils, Flying Saucers and mandarin juice that leaves a cheek suckingly long, bitter and beautifully dry finish.
