Blakemere Brewery Cosmic (6%)

CosmicNot bad.
Not bad at all.
Blakemere’s Cosmic is an IPA with a decent apricot and English mustard smell.
It pours a bright orange marmalade and its malts are crumbly digestive biscuits, a little salted peanut brittle and some runny honey.
There’s a good fruitiness too, all apple cores and pear juice, which makes way for some decent hoppy goodness.
Stinging nettles, Parma Violets, lemon rind, orange marmalade and a hazel leaf pithiness leaves a big fruity bitter finish.
As I said, not bad at all.
