Brouweriij De Molen Alive & Kicking (6.2%)

Alive & KickingI really didn’t like Simple Minds and a certain song in particular, so I hope De Molen haven’t named this beer after it as I’m petty enough to not like them any more.
Actually I’m not.
I love De Molen, but then you know that already.
And this is yet another example of their brilliance, their deftness of touch.
Alive & Kicking is a beautifully balanced Pale Ale with a candy floss heart and lots of lovely sharp citrus drenched flowers in its finish.
Absolutely stunning brewing, but please don’t tell me it was a collaboration with Jim Kerr.
