Brewed in collaboration with Melissa Cole, this is further proof if proof be needed, that Celt are becoming a force to reckon with.
Pouring a rich amber, the smell of Apparition is kiwi fruit and peaches and lime jelly.
There’s a soft Hovis biscuit malt, that salty sweet biscuit thing, with lots of caramel and hazelnuts.
The hops are a zingy, zesty bagful of lime leaves and lemongrass, grapefruit and kiwi, with a good resinous undercurrent of woody tobacco.
And if that’s not enough, Apparition’s finish is lip curlingly bitter and dry and above all, super fresh.
