Beavertown Brewery Co. Lord Smog Almighty (11%)

Lord Smog AlmightyLord Smog Almighty is an Imperial Smoked Porter aged in Braes Of Glenlivet barrels.
Put simply, it’s a ridiculously good beer.
It pours a deep dark purple brown and smells of cheroot smoking red fruit pissed on rum.
Smoke pervades this beer, wafting around everything, cloaking all the other flavours in a misty shroud.
Under it you find well varnished tea chests full of liquorice, prunes, chocolate and espresso, gum balls, Parma Violets and booze.
Big, head-spinning pots of booze.
There’s mushrooms in leather too, and artichokes, dandelions and mown lawns.
Lord Smog Almighty is a ridiculous beer.
A ridiculously good beer.
Phew.
