Hart Family Brewers Porter (6.4%)

Porter750ml of pure joy.
That’s what this is.
Hart’s Porter is a deliciously dark purple black beer with a big cappuccino head and a smell that’s heavy with stewed fruit in wooden crates.
Like so many really good beers, this isn’t a drink to be written about by taking it apart.
Instead its the sum of its whole that makes it great.
Fresh black coffee, plum compote, stinging nettles, walnuts, varnished sideboards, a subtle cheese and mushroom fug, digestive biscuits, orange marmalade, bitter dark chocolate and a splash of rum.
Hart’s Porter is an absolute beauty.
