Liverpool Organic Brewery Josephine Butler (4.7%)

Josephine ButlerWhat we have here is a very nice, very tasty beer enhanced by the addition of elderflowers that float around in the background.
They add a soft sweetness to a beer that’s already rather soft and fruity.
The malting is a light biscuit base with runny honey and white pepper, and the hops are garden mint and mown lawns with a slice of lemon on the side.
The result of all this is a lovely gentle beer with a delicately bitter citrus and juicy apple core finish.
Lovely.
