This is rather disappointing.
It pours a nice golden yellow and the smell is a decent, all spicy yeast and apricots, but when you take a swig you find a really thin flavour, very watery, very insubstantial.
A flaccid lemon juice washes about over a wimpy bread dough and floppy damp caramel wafer.
The beer vanishes when you swallow, leaving hardly a trace as your tongue struggles to find anything to savour.
Oh, and now I think about it, where’s the spice mentioned in the beer’s name?
Up until now I have found it pretty hard to fault Partizan, but this is bland and forgettable.
