Tyne Bank Brewery Mocha Milk Stout (6%)

Mocha Milk StoutYum yum yummy yum.
So often I find with a Stout, Milk or otherwise, that it’s not strong enough, not as stout as I want it to be, and I’m left a little bit disappointed.
But Tyne Bank have got this just right.
Mocha Milk Stout pours a purple brown and smells of chocolatey prunes and rum.
As you take a swig the coffee is fresh and warm, bitter and delicious.
And then there’s vanilla pods and dark chocolate, along with crunchy dry herbs and flowers with just a twist of lemon juice for tartness.
The overall feeling is thick and creamy, like an adult vanilla coffee milk shake.
A boozy rum heart packed with raisins and sultanas rounds the beer out and leaves you with a velvet smooth, sweet yet bitter finish.
Yum yum yum.
