Double Black IPA anyone?
Thought so.
This is super from start to finish.
Super name, super label, super look, super smell, super flavour.
Super.
Super duper in fact.
The aroma is a whacked-out sweet shop, all fruit jelly sweets and booze.
Taking a swig you get a shot of fresh espresso, bitter dark chocolate and patchouli oil.
Then there’s Parma Violets, aniseed balls and Marmite, giving a meaty liquorice backbone before you’re overwhelmed by glorious hops.
Big, lip puckering kiwi fruit and lime juice, grapefruit and mango hops.
The finish is treacle thick tongue coating honey sweetness and nettle sting sharp.
Something Something Dark Side is something something super.
