This is so much better than I thought it would be.
In fact it’s really yummy.
Not very technical I know, but yummy nonetheless.
Malty Monkey is a big malty beast as you’d expect, a bit like drinking all your favourite childhood biscuits.
Digestives and Malted Milk, shortcake and Garibaldi.
There are some good raisin flavours that give a much needed fruitiness and some very welcome lemon rind and herbal hops that give a decent bite.
This is a beer made of fruity toffee biscuits and I like it a lot.
