Generally I like rye beers a lot.
And generally I like BrewDog beer a lot.
But this is so sugary sweet that it’s almost sickly.
Actually, scratch that.
There’s no almost about it.
Interstellar is cane sugar sweet to the point of cloying.
The sugariness wipes out everything else, reducing the rye that should give a good meaty body to an apologetic aside.
The smell is demerara sugar, and even the hops struggle under the sticky sweet weight.
Not good at all.
