Cwrw Lal Brewery Limestone Cowboy (4.5%)

Limestone CowboyHome brew!
Lovely lovely home brew.
Cwrw Lal is a community run brewery in North East Wales, but that it all I know about it.
I was sent this by Doug (@kiwi_cellar_man) and it’s pretty good.
Limestone Cowboy is a big chewy and gooey toffee and biscuit bodied, fruit salad filled bottle of joy.
The beer pours a chestnut brown with a big foamy head, and its smell is Battenburg and peaches.
You get a little Battenburg in the flavour too, just lurking under the toffee.
It gives a little marzipan and some apricot jam before the hops smack you with their sharp grassy, mandarin and grapefruit, sherbet and herbal goodness.
The finish is long and dry and bitter and lovey.
Cheers.
