Kona Brewing Co. Longboard (4.6%)

LongboardA can of Lager.
Like at a teenagers’ party.
But actually not like a teenagers’ party at all, because this little can of Lager is full of flavourful, pleasurable, Lager rather than bland but useful get-pissed-quick-juice.
Longboard is a light straw coloured beer with a smell of shortcake and flower borders.
The ,malting is soft and chewy, toffee apples, flaky pastry and a sprinkle of pepper, and the hops are spicy lemon rind and hedgerow leaves, sharp and herbal, and they make for a crisp clean finish.
It’s the first can of Lager I’ve had in years.
I wish they were all like this.
