Oldershaw Brewery Blonde Volupta (5%)

Blonde VoluptaThe smell of Blonde Volupta is peach and passion fruit.
I had to say that straight away as it really grabbed me.
And tropical fruit flavours run throughout this beer.
Blonde Volupta is a light straw beer with a nice soft caramel biscuit and vanilla wafer malt.
But the hops are the stars here.
Bags of fruit salad sweeties, mango, peaches, passion fruit, and a good hit of pithy grass clippings and elderflower that adds a much needed bitterness to the long dry finish.
Very good indeed.
