Yeovil Ales Summerset (4.1%)

SummersetNot overly exciting, Summerset is easy drinking and in a word, decent.
Pouring a light orange with a good foamy head, the aroma is straw and lemon curd.
The malting is a round soft caramel and wafer with a little burned sugar at its edges, and comes with a spoonful of honey, and the hops are sharp lemon and satsuma skins, pithy and zesty and making for a lightly bitter dry finish tinged with tobacco and tamarind.
As I said, decent.
