Birra Amarcord Bionda (6%)

BiondaThis is a rather lovely gentle Blonde beer even if I’m struggling to find any trace of the orange honey that it’s supposedly brewed with.
The aroma is soft yeasty orchard fruits and the malts are warm and round, caramel sauce over ice cream cornets.
The hops are spicy and brittle, hedgerow and lime leaves, tarragon and nettle tea. But as I savour the long steely clean, bread dough and bitter lemon finish I fond myself continuing to wonder where all the orange honey has got to.
This is a lovely little bottle of beer nonetheless.
